TONSILITIS




Tonsillitis is an infection of the tonsils which sometimes result in sore throat and fever.

Clinically there is an acute inflammation (new), characterized by pain in swallowing (odinofagi), and often accompanied by fever. While that has chronic pain is usually not swallow, but if the size is quite large (hypertrophy) will cause difficulty swallowing (dysphagia)

Patients with tonsillitis will usually experience symptoms as follows:
Red and / or swollen tonsils
White or yellow patches on the tonsils
Tender, rigid, and / or neck swelling
Sore throat
Difficulty in swallowing food
Cough
Headache
Sore eyes
Body pain
Otalgia
Fever
Chills
Nasal congestion
Tonsillitis is caused by bacteria and viruses enter the body through the nose or mouth, the tonsils act as a filter-covered harmful organisms by white blood cells. This will cause a mild infection in your tonsils, which will trigger the immune system to form antibodies against future infection. However, sometimes the tonsils are overwhelmed resist bacterial or viral infection. This is what causes tonsillitis.

There are various kinds of viruses and bacteria that can cause tonsillitis, including the virus that causes mononucleosis (Epstein-Barr virus) and bacteria that cause strep throat (Streptococcus pyogenes).

How to treat it
Ingredients:
